Evolution of Hermitian metrics by geometric flows on Lie groups
Expositor: Mattia Pujia (Dipartimento di Matematica "Giuseppe Peano" - Università di Torino)
Resumen: Choose
the right flow equation to evolve Hermitian metrics is essential to
have good behaviour of the solutions. For this reason we will focus on
the Hermitian curvature flow (HCF). It turns out that, when restricted
to complex unimodular Lie groups, HCF is related to a component of the
Ricci flow, which leads to long-time existence results. Among others,
existence of solitons and convergence to them will be discussed. It will
also be shown a one to one correspondence between complex Lie groups
which are semisimple and static metrics. In the end, existence and
evolution of special Hermitian metric on Lie groups will be discussed.
